Spiritwood.....Why do Dev make it so hard to find.

<p>Its been a day, I still can't find Spiritwood in kurnak.</p><p>The locations from eq2wiki not useful, I guess the location is really random.</p><p>I can't use the gnomished rod becoz I dont like tradeskill. Should I forced myself to level to 44?</p><p>Things I picked from forum, does it really work :</p><p>1) take the fly bird and keep spaming the "Target next" button, until the words "the branch of spiritwood" appears?</p><p>2) take the fly, and use my eyes to quickly looking around for purple smoke?</p><p>Dev should give it a try, without the rod, on finding the spiritwood in this big kurnak region.</p><p>It could take 10mins (like someone said), it could take 10 days.</p><p>Pls tell me I must level my tradeskill, so I can forced myself more to do it.</p><p>thanks for reading.</p>

None of the 'tricks' or posted locations worked.</p><p>So, over a week, I got all my gathering from basically zero to about 400, and got my woodworking(the worst tradeskill in the game to level) up to 44.</p><p>Within 15 minutes, I had my components.</p><p>Gnomish divining rod from sokokar back ->>> see the component, hit space bar to land ... harvest it... done.</p><p>In the future, I simply won't roll a character type that needs any of those gathering or trade skills. It was agony.</p><p>Now of course, i have my fabled, but won't be able to get my mythical.... no way I can do those 24-man raidsin my small guild. And with my limited play time, I can't ever find a pickup raid to those places.</p><p>Of course in a month it may be pointless to have a mythical.</p>

<p>If you have a mount or if you can convince a bard to auto-follow you, then it's really quite easy. 65% run speed or more, and you will find it in no time.</p>
