On January 12th, 2010, a massive earthquake devastated the island nation of Haiti. In an effort to show support and lend aid, SOE will be offering items priced at 500SC on the Station Marketplace through EverQuest, EverQuest II, and Free Realms.

Is there supposed to be more items than just that one armor crate?

Will you tell us when you hit the max of $25,000.00?

Why IS there a limit? "SOE will contribute $10 (up to $25,000)". I'm guessing thats across all three games.

I mean, if we're buying the points to buy the items, you're not going to end up out of pocket. And I would hate to choose to donate to Haiti via this method, only to find out my donation wouldn't count.

(Edit: Oh, I see. 500 points is worth less than 10$ so you top it up. That's very nice of you, and makes the limit make a lot more sense to me.)

It's a very nice idea for you to do these charity drives. I still have my Bouncing Baby Bearcub. But I think you ought to automatically stop selling the item when the limit is reached so our donations aren't wasted. Maybe that's already how it works, but it would be good to know.

I think this was a splendid idea - while I'm generally a bit on the cheap side with spending extra $$ for Station Cash (I'm disabled and live on a fixed income), I was all over this one like a chicken on a junebug - I have a High Elf Templar in Kelethin who looks grand in his new stylish green and silver appearance armor.

Kudos to the people who made this happen - and keep up the good work!

For EQII there is just the armour crate.

I am certain that we will share with you how much we were able to donate through your generosity

I can't answer the question of why there's a maximum donation. I'm sure it has to do with legalities.

Just a reminder to everyone, btw. The bear cub for Child's Play becomes unavilable Sunday the 17th and the drive for Haiti will be ending Monday the 18th.

I just want everyone to know how much we appreciate your generosity in helping us to help others.

Hee, hee. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

My sarnak thinks herself quite lovely in the green armor. The helmet is quite fetching.

The froglok, on the other hand, simply refused to consider the armor thinking it too much like tads playing dress up.

Thanks for help out Haiti, Soe...and giving the sarnak an ego boost.

Lol, perhaps that is the problem then... I do not have a sarnak... They look better in certain types of armor and helms... lol.

I will donate to them the ole fashioned way me thinks....

Still and always a great thing for companies to help out like this
