Ui Issue: Hotbar scaling resets from logging

<p>Title says it all, my hotbar sizes keep resetting everytime I relog to the default sizes. I am not running any UIs, no add ons of any sort and have just done a completely fresh reinstall of the entire game. I do not have an eq2.ini file.</p><p>I have tried /save_uisettings main several times, rezoned and it keeps happening. Really, the game just isnt saving the hotbar sizes because when I /load_ui and chose "main" it resizes them back to default size 40 as if they were never saved at size 44.</p><p>Im out of ideas, as are my friends, will need a mod or admin of some sort to reply.</p><p>Thanks in advance.</p>

<p>It sounds like your files aren't being saved for some reason.  That usually means that the OS is blocking the update or the file is set to read only.  If you aren't already, make sure to do the following when you start the game:</p><p>1. Right click on the program launch icon2. Left click on "Properties".3. In the new window that pops up click on the "Compatibility" tab.4. Under "Privilege Level" make certain that the box next to "Run this program as administrator" is checked.5. Click on "Apply" then click on "Ok".6. Right click on the icon and select "Run as Administrator"</p><p>You can remove the read only flag by following these steps:</p><p>1) Find your Game and Launcher folders2) Right click that folder and open the 'properties' menu3) In the 'General' tab, remove any check/mark in the 'Read-Only' box4) Then hit the apply button and choose 'apply changes to this folder, subfolders and files</p><p>Let me know if the problem persists at that point.</p>
