Every guild has that one guy who fails at clicking Yekesha's Warbeads and they get yelled at. A common response would be " I was clicking it, But I died" or " I clicked it, But it didnt go off fast enough." there is a rare occasional "Dude, my screen didnt even turn purple." I got sick of this happening to me so I frapsed My screen not turning purple and it whiping the raid. So here Devs. Scratch your heads at this one.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8Zs6WDDCUo

So watch NPC script text, watch the huge text on your screen or actually look at your detrimentals.

Watch your detrimentals, you clearly had the purple vision buff. I agree it ought to turn your vision purple, but that's no excuse to not watch your detrimental window.

Very true guys. But rarely does someone on that encounter keep a close eye on the detramental window. Also it was "intended " to give you purple vision So that you dont have to watch your det window. (I didnt even know what the det looked like, Or what the cloud one was")

So the point of the post was. Not working as intended.

So wait...you're arguing with me because I agree it should still turn your screen purple? It's a bug sure, but that's no excuse.

You just stated there was a way to get around An encouter thats not working intended where I only posted this tread to show its not working intended. I in no way said its preventing us from killing the mob. In turn thats how guilds convince themselves its ok to exploit an encounter for example. Last expansion Fear was broken where you could Range the port in the hallway and avoid having to actually run and stand on top of him when he ported. Taking the small damage vs rage other then the Ranged massive damage ae. It was fixed.

Im just reporting that a specific mechanic that was put in to notify a player CLEARLY that they have a detramental on them has a chance to fail and i provided a video of me getting it and it failing.

If you are posting negativly you just are bored and are looking for someone to flame.

Honestly, any mechanics like this that aren't working should either be fixed or just done away with entirely. If the vision is meant to hit when the detrimental affects a player and it's not--fix whatever is making it not hit or do away with the vision entirely. Either way I watch my detrimentals and rarely trust the secondary mechanics built into these scripts. Most of the time they work fine, but when they're instant wipe conditions those times the mechanic fails to operate correctly just results in frustration.

I'm hoping in future raids there's fewer instant wipe scripts like there have been in TSO. I'm fine with a screw up making the fight harder, but there's always going to be one person who either screws up or has some circumstance occur that prevents them from avoiding a fail condition for whatever reason.
