<p>What exactly is the reason why SK is (or has become) better than berserker in <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">everything</span></strong>?</p><p>SK exceeds berserker in EVERY concern (and all at <span style="text-decoration: underline;">once</span>; given comparable/same equipment, 200 AA, fully mastered and same group):</p><p>* higher single target dps and aggro (even with berserker dual wielding)</p><p>* higher AoE dps and aggro (even with berserker dual wielding)</p><p>* slightly higher defense</p><p>* FD and evac</p><p>* The crusaders have so much nice tools in their AA trees. <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>After they had been given to them, there was nothing left for berserkers.</strong></span> This is really what it seems to me. All we basically get is some lame percentual increase of our lame CAs which does not make a difference. In opposite to this there is fear immun, TSO cure, 30% block increase, a useless pet that has become a hydrogen bomb.</p><p>* Just compare the TSO end abilities: a <span style="text-decoration: underline;">blue</span> AoE rescue that <span style="text-decoration: underline;">needs a target</span> and has a cast time of one second (too long) vs. 15 seconds invulnurability that at the same time increases dps while being fully operational (seems to be a guardian ability).</p><p>* Adrenaline (with its lame berserk requirement - make at least the EoF berserk clicky last 30 seconds) is much less fun then two blood letters. Don't know any TSO raid boss that can be killed within 30 seconds.</p><p>* One of our class defining abilities, the berserk proc will not match T9: +2 dps and +2 haste won't make a faintest difference to T8's 200 dps and haste. Thinking about it really makes me cry. Whereas SK will probably get a third bloodletter.</p><p>Envy? <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>YES!</strong></span></p><p>Could a dev please start playing <span style="text-decoration: underline;">berserker</span> and rediculously overpower him? Take some ideas from <a href="http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/posts/list.m?topic_id=465561" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=465561</a></p><p>Now we had an expansion that was fully designed around SKs, with much content just tailored to him: Uktap, Gozak...</p><p>What would be an encounter tailored to berserker instead of SK? Four mobs with a 100% manadrain on the tank every 5 seconds and with the double amount of damage output during the first 30 seconds.</p>
<p>I play both. The thing that gets me is that my sk has more true 360 degree blue aoe abilities than my zerker. That to me is total horse do do. Zerker encounter only stunning roar takes to long to execute, berserker assult is frontal only, and both take longer to refresh than comparable sk abilities.</p><p>Zerkers should have more aoe prowess than the crusaders.</p>

<p>SOE cannot do anything in moderation. </p><p>SKs needed some fixes prior to TSO.....no doubt about that.....but in usual SOE fashion they went totally overboard and thus created a fighter class that crosses over into all the various categories SOE has defined for tanks.......AE -vs- ST.....Off -vs- Def. </p><p>The problem is not the fact that SK can do massive DPS both single and AE or that they can take DMG as well or in many cases better than a Warrior or that they have easy-mode aggro lock. Its that they can achieve all that all at the same time. Thus being able to achieve and surpass the AE prowness of a Zerker without the cost to surviveability that a Zerker suffers.</p>

It is distributing the weights equally.</p>

<p>Been Playing this game almost since launch and as usual I doubt anyone is listening. The EQ2 forums are like a <strong>shrink</strong> it allows people to come and vent their issues with no real result, because the people you really need to talk to are not around.</p><p>Bottum line SOE does not have developers playing ever class like they should nor from what I can tell are their class leads they are listening to, probably cause they quit the game for lack of SOE listening. I personally make it my priority as a tank to learn exactly what it is other classes contribute to the raid/group and it retrospec that also gives you the abilty to know where classes are falling short.</p><p>I also agree with SOE inability to acutally balance anything. They always over kill things and then nerf everything to kingdom come its like they are bipolar or something. Balancing requires a light touch and SOE uses an anvil. Before I took a break last year because of school they were promising better customer relations which I can clearly see has not happen.</p><p>I have seen what is currently up for AA's and I dare any Developer to justify 80% of the abilities they have give the Berserker with me and for that matter the brigand. I would do my best to help if there was acutally a person to talk to and I was accepted to beta, but sadly as usual there isnt and I wasnt.</p><p>SOE you need to be straight up with people about your intentions for each class, let people into beta that want to actually give feedback, and then acutally do something with it. Less then 40 posts in the Berserker forums after over a month of Beta that is just SAD!</p><p>/end Session "My 30 mins are up"</p>

<p>SK's cant Dual wield and can still put out the same numbers or more with less group buffs while keeping a shield on, generating more total aggro, while having the abilty to be immune to several control effects.</p><p>About the same situation with the Paladin except they can cure themselves lol, but your right hey we can dual wield with all those thousands of 3.0 sec 1 handed weapons out there.</p>

<p>You could really replace the word "berserker" with "every other fighter" and the question would still remain just as valid. SKs are pretty much the only fighter class worth playing in TSO.</p>
<p>Its funny because I play an SK alt and most of the time wish I had rolled a serker since the ones I play with hold agro just as well, out parse me and don't get gibbed as easily. Solo however its a no contest, my taps keep me standing longer against mobs that hit me with pillows while the serker would have long since died.</p><p>Also in SF the combination of crits is cutting the legs out from SK dps.</p><p>But it don't matter because, fingers crossed, the changes to bruiser AA mean I can bring my "main" back from the grave =)</p>

<p>Not saying its all roses but my xp with beta so far points towards improvement over live. Change crane twirl to a trample and I'll be in heaven. My bruiser isn't built for tanking though. I can snap agro if needed but I'm no MT nor do I want to be.</p>
