Paladin vs. Guardian

<p>I'm getting back into the game and have a pally around 40.  I started the pally for healing since I was planning to duo with a wizzie, but we have since picked up a Templar.  We are also getting a bard to work with us. </p><p>I have been reading some Guardian and Paladin posts and am wondering if there is a difference in the tanking of the 2.  From what I have been reading, it seems that they have gimped the Guardian.  So is a Paladin now on the level with aggro control with their DPS and healing aggro they get?  Thanks.</p>

<p>Paladins can do more dps and has better threat control. Guardians are harder to play, more fun to play... lots of threat snaps and saves.</p><p>Probably just pick paladin unless you plan on being the main tank for some raid guild. Better question might even be paladin vs berserker.</p>

Honestly know nothing about the class other than from the perspective of my  Assassin..where grouping and leveling with a Pally or SK or Zerker as tank is a million times easier and significantly faster than with a Guard.</p>

<p>Right now, as things currently stand on live, I would say 100% paladin.  But then, we have a new expansion coming soon, and it may be that guardians will end up much stronger and crusaders much weaker in the future.  Who knows?</p>

<p>It should be the brawlers turn, hehehh. I mean comeon, wouldn't it be awesome to see people askin for brawler tanks? They have needed some love for a long time.</p>

<p>Well brawlers do need some assistance but not to the extent that it leaves the other plates in the dust. All fighters as a whole should be strong in areas that they are known for.</p>

<p>I've been playing a pally since pretty much Day 1 of this game.  Personally, I find guardians boring (no offense to those who play them intended).  Needless to say, I'm a bit biased :p</p>
