Which weapons to use?

<p>I'm new to the Troubadour class, i'm currently lvl 42. Right now i'm using 2 x slashing weapons that have a 1.7 second delay. What are the best weapons to use as a Troub? Piercing? Slashing? Some people said to use 1 of each type? What about weapon delay? Is a faster delay better? Or should I be using weapons around 4.0? Thanks.</p>

<p>The main thing i have found is that you want your weapon delays to match.</p><p>Until I got my skills maxed in both categories, I typically used one slash and one pierce with identical delays.  At that point, I used whichever weapon had better stats and tried to keep the delays consistent.  </p><p>Our fabled/mythical has a 4.0 delay, so at 80 you will definitely want your off-hand to have a 4.0 delay.</p>

Get two crafted flamberge's with 4 sec delay. Hard enough to buff one attack skill (slashing) without having to add in piercing. Get used to 4 sec delay, it's the way forward for your troub as you level up.

Flamberge and Stiletto both have 4.0 sec delay. Slash and pierce, respectively. STR INT are the stats. Decent combo to try and keep both skills up, if that is your wish...
