Confused about the Blue Shinnies?

<p>Hello Gang!</p><p>I need your friendly advice once more.</p><p>I know that there are now Blue shinnies that you can pick up for a Colection,  My problem is that I think you need a special pair of Goggles in order to view them in the various zones and you need different gogggles for the different zones.  But in oder to get these goggles I have to complete a specific Quest (sorry don't know what the name of that quest is).  How do I start this Quest or what NPC gives it to me.</p><p>I thought at first I needed to find one blue shinnie to start it but if I don't have the Special goggles, how the heck do I inititate it and start collecting.</p><p>I was also wondering if maybe the first one is just a ramdon collectible and when you clik on it the Quest will start but alas I have harvested for 4 days now in all the EoF zones (like over 120 items) but not one of them did anything to start it.</p><p>So my felllow EQ 2 Brethren, how the heck can I start it or collect them?</p><p>BTW:  I do know that the red shinies are only availble to Crafters who have attained a certrain crafting level but the blue ones illude me.</p><p>Thanks in advance,</p>

<p>You get the special goggles fof the EoF blue shinnies by completing the collection of EoF rare shinnies</p><p>And similarly for RoK.</p>

<p>There's also the <a href="http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/Relics_of_the_Ethernauts" target="_blank">Relics of the Ethernauts</a> collection which allows you to see blue shinies in the Shadow Odyssey zones. These relics are only found in the level 80 version of the Shadow Odyssey zones, but are also usually on the broker (although for an extreme amount of plat, as the reward is an extremely powerful neck/earring item).</p><p>The <a href="http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/Relics_of_the_Goblin_Hero" target="_blank">Relics of the Goblin Hero</a> lets you see the blue shiny collection in Runnyeye: The Gathering.</p><p>Also completing your<a href="http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/Artisan_Epic_Timeline" target="_blank"> Earring of the Solstice</a> allows you to see <a href="http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/Master_Artisan_Red_Shinies" target="_blank">red shinies</a>.</p>

<p>Thnaks so much for all your info!  Much appreciated!</p><p>I had already started the Expert Collection Quest and did not even realize it until I read some of your comments and checked out your links.  I initially thought I had to find one bluie shinnie to start it but that was not the case.  Now to find the other 10 collectobles or so I am mssing..............LOL!</p><p>Thanks again everyone!</p>
