Hello,

I just started playing this game about 3 weeks ago, my Templar is level 36 atm. I'm enjoying my Templar but I don't know if it's the type of class I want to play at 80. I've always played a healing class in most mmo's, including WoW. I always did end game raiding and healing and it's what I enjoyed. I don't know if i'm just getting sick of healing, or if it's the class i'm playing, but I don't get much enjoyment out of the Templar class, I log on and play with my wizard friend who is lvl 36 as well. We duo great together and can take most heroic mobs our lvl or higher pretty easily.

When I hop on my Ranger or Troubador I get a lot more enjoyment out of playing the class, it seems to be a lot more fun. My question is are Rangers really as bad as people make them out to be? I've been reading all the posts on the fourms saying Rangers are pretty much useless at end game for raiding, and most raiding guilds will not take them as there are other dps classes that are better over-all. I don't want to spend the next 4-6 months leveling and getting gear if i'm not going to be able to raid. I've always been in a raiding guild in every mmo i've played, and I want to do the same thing in EQ2. I'm not a big fan of soloing, i'll do it, but i'd much rather group or raid. Is there another class other then Ranger I should be looking at for raiding? Thanks for the help.
