I'm running 2 PCs. One with W7 and one with XP. Both have the streaming client. The W7 launcher works quickly and without issue. The PC with XP on it takes upwards of 2-3 minutes for it to load up fully so you can click on Play. Not sure what's causing this, but it has been happening since I installed it about a month ago.

Side Question: What is the name of the folder where the files for the streaming client are stored? I am unable to locate it anything besides the Everquest II Launchpad on my hard drive.

Thank you.

Hmmm, weird. Do you happen to know if the normal patchers react the same way? The reason I ask is because the patcher does a file scan to decide which files need updating. You can trigger a much longer (more detailed) scan when its own internal save doesn't match the file signatures; for example if you copy files from another computer's EQ2 directory into your current computers EQ2 directory.

Just wonder if the XP system is doing this. It could also be due to difference in the file caching where Win7's system responds faster. That seems to be the case for us using the bulk updater. It's a difference, but not a huge one. But clearly noticeable if you are comparing load times.

Also, it might be due to anti-virus settings. Are they both set the same way? We usually make sure our gaming directories are excluded from the scanning just because we often get updates, and we know the source of those updates.
