Account was hacked - is it still safe to use?

<p>I haven't played Everquest 2 since October 2008.  I decided to give it another try and logged into my account only to find that someone was currently playing.  Looking at the character list, I noticed that my formerly level 42 beserker on Nagafen was now level 74. </p><p>I quickly changed my password, which I guess kicked the player off the server, and logged into my now level 74 beserker.  I mentioned it in Level 0_9 chat and someone sent me a message saying that my character onced spammed invite message to him and then when grouped, didn't say a word and just died a bunch of times.  This leads me to believe that my account was hacked for the purpose of gold farming or possibly to reach max level and then sold off.</p><p>Since my account was compromised and I presumely regained control. I'm curious to whether or not my account is safe to continue using?</p>
