Don't think anyone is working on a Sunday over Christmas, so don't expect an answer until they get back this week. Plus, I would assume they are short staffed as well.

seeing as i am yet to get a reply even after all this time, i guess i uodate you with how this issue is going.

so, still crashing, a lot...

since last post i have:

bought a new routerbought a new LAN cardtried directly into the master socket of the phone linereinstalled windowschecked each individual RAM stick for issuesspoke with my ISP who have tested my line and connections out of theretried wirelessreturned to wiredkicked my computer fearing it needed a nudgespoke with tech support who are yet to get back with me after submitting trace routes and ping pathsfelt like crying into my dinnerreplaced my SLI link cable and tested each indivual gfx card

so... short of buying a new computer.... im out of ideas!

but i do feel that the length of time i have gone without a response is utterly ridiculous and shocking seeing as i pay to use this game.

Greetings,

If it's crashing to desktop when zoning then that usually indicates a corrupt UI/settings file. You may want to make backups and then delete the following files and folders:

cache foldereq2_recent.inieq2_default.iniEverQuest2.exee q2.iniAs well as the character specific files, these will appear as such:Servername_CharacterName_EQ2_uisettings.iniSt ationname_characters.ini

Let us know if the problem persists at that point.
