Station Launchpad Update Failing

<p>While Updating this morning (through Station Launcher) I keep receiving the following error:</p><p>There was a problem confirming the checksum for the file c:program filessteamsteamappscommoneverquest 2lp_tempLegendsOfNorrathcards.rcc_delta_8580_44.pa tched. Please try again. If the problem persists use the Help menu above for more info and help. Station launcher will try again after 30 seconds.</p><p>I am running on WIN XP, SP3. The game ran just fine yesterday.</p><p>I also know a little bit about this crap, a checksum error usually means the file downloaded (or attempting to download since it's in the lp-temp folder) doesn't match the manifest. Somebody goofed, please fix asap!</p>

<p>Greetings,</p><p>If you haven't tried doing so already, the easiest solution is usually to delete the file it is having trouble with.  In this case that would be the cards.rcc file.  If the problem persists at that point then you might want to try launching the game through the streaming client, available here:</p><p><a href="http://everquest2.station.sony.com/index.vm?reinstall=yes" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://everquest2.station.sony.com/...m?reinstall=yes</a></p><p>Finally, since the file it's having trouble with is an LoN file, you should be able to start the game without it by launching it directly from the Everquest2.exe file in the game folder.  Let us know if you are still unable to access the game after trying those methods.</p>
