I hope this doesn't sound stupid...but I decided to buy one of these pandas because it is for charity and because the description says that it is one per character.

I purchased one and scribed it with my main character. How do I get the scroll to scribe it on my other characters? Am I missing something?

Any chance at all we could get the vamp pet in EQ2 somehow for this?

I mean, a panda is cute and all. But I roll a guardian that wields two black axes with an evil red glow and a necromancer that uses a Drachnid illusion half the time. Not really "panda" material.

Hey! Being a necromancer and having a panda are not mutually exclusive states of beings! As a necro, I proudly cuddle my panda cub in public. d:

It says that it may be scribed only once per character. Not that you can scribe it once on each character

Kiara, even your wording is confusing. Why would a character need to scribe something more than once? We all know that once a fluff pet/spell/combat art, etc. is scribed, it is scribed. Why even say that? I don't think anyone was trying to be deliberately misleading, but I do think it was a poor choice of words.

To me, the wording used is confusing, unnecessary and easily interpreted in the way in which I interpreted it. Maybe the promo for the item should read that it can only be scribed once per account rather than only once per character. This would be MUCH clearer and consistent with the wording used when claiming items through the /claim command. When using /claim, if you can claim an item on more than one character, it tells you that you can only claim in once per character but you can still claim it multiple times on the same account.

Surely you can see where the confusion arises for someone who is a veteran of the game and knows how mechanics work in game, how the /claim window works in game, but who doesn't understand how Station Cash works .

Frankly, if it wasn't for the fact that the purchase was made for charitable purposes, I would want my money back. I feel like I have been burned. There is one thing of which you can be certain, I will be more cautious about purchasing more promotional items through Station Cash.

As with almost every fluff pet, they're only for one character. In /claim terminology, "1 Remaining."

Well, it also says that they continue to contribute for each "additional purchase made." If they intended for 1 purchase to cover all of your characters, then there would be no need to make additional purchases. *nodnod* But I suppose if that is all that you looked at (the latter part of the statement), and you didn't want to assume that they didn't do this item how they do anything that you scribe, pet or spell or otherwise, then I can see room for confusion, yah. d:

I have bought some of the services, but not items. How would I know that they meant one per ACCOUNT when it clearly says per CHARACTER?

Again, not saying that they were intentionally misleading, but it could be made clearer.

And I have a right to feel burned by this situation. My feelings are my feelings, aren't they? Not saying you have to be upset about it, but as a long term customer who is familiar with the game (I have had this account since the game launched) I am used to "per Character" meaning "per character". When they say "per account" then I expect that I can only get the item once per account.

As for multiple purchases, they also talk about the fact that it can be gifted. I thought that's what they meant by multiple purchases.

You know what? I think I will call CS and just ask for a refund. I will find another nice thing to do for disadvantaged kids this Christmas.

Problem with the wording one per account is that may make people think they can only get one period. Where they can buy more then one, they can only jsut scribe one per toon. ( I assume so no one thinks they can have a herd!)

We haven't reached our goal of a 50k$ donation yet, but we're well on the way.

Thank you, so very much, to everyone who has generously contributed thus far.
