Choosing Assassin or Ranger

<p>Hello peeps, i just made a new toon and kinda new to this game and couldnt make a ranger or hunter class for my Iskar so i made a assassin. Wasnt sure if i be happy with her. Anyway someone mention that i can switch class, but dunno how.</p><p>I need decesnt melee class incase range attack failed, wasnt sure if ranger or assassin, or other class i be comfortable with. I like to sneak (optional) using bow as primary weapon. For tradeskill for crafting, havent decide what to become. Im more of aquatic type, cuz i like to hang out near the water or ocean.</p><p>Can anyone give me some advise?</p>

<p>Yes you can betray to a good city, no problem.  I suggest doing it sooner rather than later. </p>

I want to stick with evil dues to diety. And i think what you saying is called exiled, someone mention that you have to see someone in a tavern. Let me dig up some infos from wiki and see. My toon is lvl 11 atm.</p><p>After reading few paragraphs on wiki while on betrayal, only alignment will shift as well class. So there no way i can do what i wanted to do. I can understand that if i want to be ranger ended up over evil sides, there is no ranger trainers around except over in faydark where woodelves hang out.</p>

<p>Pretty sure you can keep your diety even after you change alignments.  Problem is you wont be able to switch back and forth at all. </p><p>There is a betrayal quest starter in the EFP inn.  Not sure if he has a feather over his head, but as you come close he says something to you to get your attention.  I think you can stay exiled and be either class.  But maybe thats just for classes that are not good only or evil only.</p>

<p>Assassins have no usefull ranged attack abilities whatsoever.  Rangers primarily use a bow but they also have not that bad melee abilities.  From what you said you are looking for in a class ranger is definatly the only class that fits that discription.</p>

<p>I just want to try it out, i like assassin too. Realise that rangers doesnt have much melee combos as much assassins does. I like them both, guess i like using the bows alot but when it come to melee gotta figured something out fast or wont be able to finish the job.</p><p>Beside i will stick with assassin!</p>
