casting effects

<p>On raids, I run EQ2 on "extreme performance" but this causes almost everyone to look like they are just standing around, not casting anything or using any combat arts. If I run on "high performance" the particle effects from the spells slows down my screen too much.</p><p>Is there a way to enable the casting animations but keep the particle effects from those spells from slowing down the game? What setting am I missing?</p>

<p>Greetings,</p><p>The sliders for animation quality will be in the Display > Animation section of the game options.  You can turn up the animatuin quality independent of everything else from that area of the display options.  The particle effects that are slowing you down are in the 'Particle Effect' section of the display options and can be turned down independently as well.  Please let us know if you have any further questions.</p>
