Hello all

I am a former EQ2 player and just received an email about Will of the Tyrant and an offer to come back and play for free from December 9 through the 31st. It clicked the link and it took me to the site and gave me a link to re-download the game. I got the launcher up and going but when it starts, it immediately shows a "not playable" notice and has a link on the launcher wanting me to re-subscribe so I can play.

Not sure what is up with this or why it will not allow me in for the 3 weeks free. I would really like to give Eq2 another try, but I would like to try this offer. I read about the offer a bit and I can find no reason why it would not allow me in. My account is in "good standing" and all that, just haven't subscribed or played in a quite a while. Any ideas? I would like to pop in and see if I might want to switch back to Eq2.

thanks

Greetings,

According to my information, any account that has not logged in since March 19 of 2009 will automatically receive the 3 weeks of free play. Did you have another account that might have qualified instead of the one you are trying? That seems like the most likely answer in this case. If you are unsure what account that may have been then feel free to contact us through phone, e-mail, or chat support and we'll take a look at your accounts. The following link contains our contact information:

http://help.station.sony.com/cgi-bi...p?p_faqid=10404

I'm having the exact same issue, and I only had one account I played EQ2 on. I triple checked and I'm putting the right one in. I also checked all the terms, and I meet the requirements. There seems to be quite a few people having this problem.

According to the previous post if the account was logged in anytime afte March 19th it does not qualify.
