I think this is a great idea, just have a few questions:

Is this 15k for specific game, or just total?By regularly scheduled update, do you mean GU's or are hotfix updates included in this? Are the totals for Facebook and Twitter combined or do we need 15k of each?If I play all three games, do I get the 250 station cash for each game as they reach the goal, or is it once only?EQ2 already has 6k Facebook fans. So when does that happen?

Thanks for any answers, and thanks for the event!

Thanks again, Amnerys!

An interesting idea for a promotion, although even the promise of a cape that summons pie (or is made of pie??) won't lure me into the world of F and T . But I do have to wonder, though, how much those sites are making off of companies and celebrities who are running these sorts of things.

I've already been following the official EQ/EQ2 accounts as well as a few SoE staff on Twitter, but I didn't know there were FB fan pages. Very cool to see you guys embracing social networking (more than you already were I mean), and getting free stuff doesn't hurt either. To those without Facebook or Twitter accounts...try it, you might like it.

I spent about 15 minutes trying to register for twitter. I was pounding the register button, but the page wouldn't update or anything. Finally I went over to facebook, and they told me that my email address was already registered; but when I asked them to send me my password, they never did. Eventually I gave up and said screw the whole thing. 1 person never made a difference anyway =/

I think it kind of sucks that if Facebook gets 15,000 fans, but Twitter never gets past 5k, the 15,000 people who became a fan on Facebook will get nothng. I made a Twitter account just for this, I haven't even been back, so I did my part, but I still think its pretty unfair to not reward the FB people because Twitter followers didn't step up.

Am surrpised at how far Twitter lags behind Facebook. Is it cause we feel we need more then 140 characters to express ourselves

This promition began on Dec 10th, 2009. It ends on Feb 10th, 2010. The half way mark has already been and gone. Are these indicators accurate?
