Windows 7 64 bit Enterprise with E8400 OC 3.6GHz and 4G rams, 9800GT (190.XX driver via Windows Update)

I have this problem since I upgrade from XP to 7, and due to driver issue I reinstalled the whole system including EQ2 a few days ago.

But it still happens, everytime I stand still I get about 40 - 65 FPS, and while running around or just turning screens will cause FPS drop under 10 or even 3-5.

I do not have another VGA to cross test this issue, so I cannot say it is a hardware or software problem tho....

Greetings,We have seen a lot of issues with the Nvidia driver version that you are using currently. It seems likely that they are causing the problem in this case. I would advise uninstalling your current driver version and installing version 186. You can find version 186 at that following link:http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find...aspx?lang=en-usPlease let us know if the issue persists after trying that step.

thanks, it works.

But it is a bit stupid which Windows 7's default built in driver for nVidia is newer, while I am installing it keeps telling me the the system didn;t install anything.

What I did is to stop the device and uninstall any driver files for it (including WDM version blablabla), and tell WDM to search the unziped 186 file for updates.
