Last night I reinstalled EQ2 after being gone for over a year. I play a level 80 conjurer. I quit the game shortly after RoK was released and before they put mythical in the game. Basically I raced to 80 with a lot of other nerds and then got burnt out and quit to play WoW. Thats the back story.

If you had a friend and he had been gone for almost 2 years what would you have him do? I'm looking to get back in to raiding, running instances and figuring out the hardest mobs to solo. Where do I need to start as far as acquiring gear, pushing my AA's up to max and relearning my class.

My advice would be to start the quest for the epic asap if you don't have it already. There are some great threads on this forum and eq2flames about where to find the best available non raid gear thru questing and instances. Definately check those out. I would start running quests in Moors and instances to get your aa up, there are some nice choices in the TSO aa lines. After looking at your gear I would start working on getting shards for your T2 armor, that should be a good start.

For earning AA the best way is to do all of the Kunark, Moors of Ykesha, and Lavastorm quests you can, as well as doing all of the TSO group quests and instances you can. Daily shard missions are also pretty good AA.

Definitely get your epic weapon asap, it's by far your best weapon.

It's funny, I used to be one of the best equipped Conjurers on my server. I feel so under-developed now. Thanks for the help.
