<p>you can find her on the freeport newbie isle. and she is also part of the qeynos claymore questline in KoS.</p><p>from some of her dialog, its almost as if she is like an adopted daugter.</p><p>althogh she plays a more... darker role in the comeing update.</p>

<p>Why do you think Opal Darkbriar is dead? I see her running through Darklight Woods headed for Neriak on a regular basis. I even have a screenshot of it somewhere. This was taken within the last month since I've been out of game for over a year.</p><p>Tayil seems to still be around. When you're called to Lucan's Office for TSO expansion, she's in the room with him though hailing her doesn't produce any text.</p>

Opal's head on a plate? Basically, is there any way Opal could of sent someone else in her place and fool the Assassin and the client? Just currious.</p>

But you did not hear that from my lips."</p><p>No way to tell if this is fact or just random rumors.  I doubt the residents of Freeport are any less apt to suggest a woman earned her position in the bedroom than people of our own world.  Particularly if that woman is in a position to make and enforce decisions which the rumormonger does not agree with, such as hiring a mercenary to handle a vital mission.</p>

I'd imagine calling your father figure "Overlord" all the time, even in private would be a bit awkward. That being said, doesn't the half elf priestess or prophet or something of Hate say something similar about herself? Not the father/daughter thing but that her name "carries a certain weight" with D'Lere. Anyway, I'm more inclined to believe Tayil herself, than gossip from a random NPC, but to each their own.</p>

<p>The researcher in the Academy says they are followers of Prince Tallus who supposedly had died in the attack on Cauldron Hollow.  However...  If he died, how is it that Queen Cristanos has the complete scroll?  Tallus was believed to have had the other half and was trying to deliver it when attacked.</p><p>Lucan said that Tayil attacked him with a Void army, as we already know that void like to occupy Norrathians, is it so far fetched that most, if not all of the special Thexian forces in the city are void touched?  The Dreadnaught are merly hired hands to provide extra muscle and disposable forces.</p>

How was the contact with her?</p></blockquote><p>Yea Vhalen kinda let it be known Talvus was living in Freeport back in some old EoF ineterviews, if you knew how cryptic he said it and what to look for in his words. I suspect he's either keeping things under control or using it as a power play to keep Cristanos from invading.</p><p>As for Tayil, Lucan tells the players it was Tayil who opened the portal up inside his tower and let a raid of void men attack through it. Tallen Yevix, whom we assume is Tayil in disguise claims Soulfire at the end of the quest for its (and her) True master.... possibly Theer?</p>
