I keep getting this warning about missing disk and then my game just crashes. If anyone has any idea how to fix this, it would be greatly appreciated.

I too have this problem of desktop crashes after the 'no disk' error. It occurs for me primarily when in our guild. Especially when attempting to use the teleporters, although it has infrequently happened on other occasions in other locations. Has a resolution to this problem been discovered? I would be very appreciative for any help I can get.

Actually, there are posts about this problem almost in every section of this "support" forum, and some posts are over a month old. I do not want to start a new "topic" when it's been mentioned so many times, but it seems that i should.

I've run EQ2 on Vista and never had any problems (even though comp was full of junk and was slow like a turtle). Now i've re-installed the game on Windows 7 (same laptop) and I get a crash with above error message every 10-15 min of playing (in fact, i don't even have to move around or open any windows, it crashes on its own).

I have tried to reinstall EQ2 again, i've tried to lower my performance settings to minimum, i have turned off most of the advanced graphics features (as some people suggested) - did not help.

I wonder if the reason is Win7 itself.

Taleta
