Will of a Tyrant Preview – Attack on the Crowns

While most of the update is a massive bug stomping expedition (the team has their big boots on!) there are a few nifty features that everyone should be sure to check out! The second prelude event to usher in Sentinel's Fate will be made available. <p>I hate to say this, but it looks like this GU will be about nothing minus the minor quest leading to the new expansion. Honestly, fixing all these minor bugs should have been done ages ago and now to wrap them all up in one neat package called a GU....well...it's disappointing. Instead, the Devs should be looking at other issues like why instanced gear is better than Avatar gear or why certain procing items (Ex: Circle Globes of Dark) cannot have their trigger proc raised via group buffs while other older gear (Ex: Sash of Pain) can be. These current issues have been posted several times and still no response by any Dev.</p>

But I feel it's made up for by being able to do both quest series...  if you have good invis and are brave enough to sneak past enemy guards!  It's quite doable.  Especially if you're adept at playing dodge-a-mob harvesting.</p>

Freeps are told they have access to both quests so it's okay.. but.. if there was a better quest series on the Freep side that's not easy for a Q, the Q complaints get it changed *shrug*</p>

<p>As much as I love this event, and really liked the quests (Especially the good side one) the Frostfell decorations and quest givers sliiiiiightly ruined the mood. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" /></p><p>I expect a lot more fighting in the streets, a bit more chaos. The first time I went in to Freeport I saw about twenty NPCs all in one tiny spawn point obviously bugged and for the past few days they've moved out of their singular spawn point and are instead just standing still in a big mass up the ramp from<span style="font-family: sans-serif; font-size: small;"><span style="font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;"> </span><span style="line-height: 19px;">Tallen Yevix. Are these guys suppose to be um ... doing something? Like bashing each others face in? </span></span></p><p>That said, many kudos to a game world actually changing and evolving rather than remaining static.</p>

<p>Hi,  Just downlaoded the update for Will of th Tyrant, now, as soon as I get to the login screen, my comptuer locks up completely, where as before the update it worked fine.  I just updated Nvidia drivers and Directx, but still my computer keeps locking up trying to log into EQ2 now...HELP!!! Please?</p><p>My other Sony Station games still work fine... Including Star Wars Galaxies, Planetside, etc...</p>
