<p>Troub friend pointed this out to me. Notice anything missing?</p><p><img src="http://img189.imageshack.us/img189/3289/eq2000024.jpg" /></p><p>The additional effect Jester's Cap recieves from the Troubador 6 set bonus (the green text) says that "Recipients of Jester's Cap receive an additional 8% increase to their maximum critical hits." Unfortunately this does not include range critical hits right now. I'm surprised it has gone unchecked this long (as far as I know) and may be of little importance close to expansion, just thought i would make sure it was pointed out.</p>

<p>Doesn't suprise me at all, when was the last time that rangers were treated equally on buff stats? only ones I can think of are fortissimo, don't kill the messenger, and Illusory arm. </p>

Also I just got taken out of the jcap rotation because of this discovery lol. not surprising since knowing this it benefits rangers the least.

<p>That seems like BS to me Neiloch. It might benefit you less than some because of what? 8% less range crit? Most raids I'd imagine you're max or close to cap anyway. Melee crit still benefits a minor amount with any melee ca's you may be casting, but mainly the reuse/cast speed/recovery still benefit you, especially if it catches at the right time.</p>

<p>I really don't mind I still whoop their butt on the ZW unless it was choked with with fights that last just under 2 auto attack rotations which seems to my lowest point of DPS. Doesn't change the fact that the bonus is bull either. Its something that can be easily fixed and if added won't cause overpower issues so I am going to continue to push hard on it until its either fixed or made obsolete. With their ranger track record my money is on obsolete (post expansion release).</p>

<p>Exactly. range crit is basically high enough to be 100% if i land the hit. Only way I have to increase my DPS atm is base damage, range crit bonus and procs. Melee crit would be nice too but I'm not gonna replace much of what i have for it. Gonna bring up some of the top parsing ranger CA's are melee later, should help my cause. But its still BS theres no range crit bonus.</p><p>EDIT: apparently they were just juggling the JC rotation btw, one troub took me off theirs while another picked it up.</p>

Missed that it was bonus.</p><p>That said, the other buffs still affect you in a positive manner, but I do agree with Neiloch, it should be fixed to include Range crit bonus as well. But, and again I agree, it will probably fall on deaf ears until maybe, if we're lucky, the next expac.</p>
