Quest Journal has become a pain to use

<p><span style="font-size: medium;">I have no idea who thought my quest journal needed changing, however, let me point out to you how it has become something I dread opening, and this game kind of requires using it.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">1.) When I first open it after logging in on any character, every single quest in every single category is laid out in all its great and glorious detail.  (edit:  Yes, I do indeed hit that nice little box to close them all right away.)</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">2.) The various categories are no longer alpha order, come to think of it, they aren't even in the same order on every character.   It seems to be a random thing now.  /scream</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">3.) For some reason the zones are now not easy to find, oh yeah, that's right, they are not in alpha order anymore either!</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">I have no earthly idea who made the changes to my quest journal, please haul that person outside and behead them or something or at least chain them to their chair until they fix this mess.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Thank you in advance for fixing this.</span></p>

<p>Odd... I don't have those problems.  I'm certainly not doubting that you do; just wondering where it could be coming from.  I've actually been having a *better* time with the journal and quest helper (especially the helper!) in the last month or whatnot.</p><p>At least #1 is a one-click fix... I can definitely see where #2 and #3 would drive you batty, though.</p>

<p>I've noticed the same thing on Test and Live.  The quest tree has always been fully open the first time opening as far as I recall, so I don't care too much about that, although I always immediately hit the - button to prune it back to categories only.  But the categories themselves are always out of order.  If I sort by zone, the order is completely random.  If I sort by category, the special categories like heritage quest/missions are at the top, then the zones below are in random order.  Makes it fairly challenging to track down a quest sometimes <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />.</p>

I have the same problem and it's a pain. Especially when I tried to find out if I had done a quest in Commonlands the other day... Finding the "commonlands" category was a pain. So yes, please, give us back alpha order!

<p>/agree</p><p>Add to the list the fact that the journal now covers more than half the screen and can't be resized smaller. I really, REALLY hate it now. Very poor design folks so I hope a fix is in the works - SOON.</p>
