Gone for several months.... how do I adjust?

<p>I came back to Norrath after several months... and found out that I have to essentially start from scratch!  I found myself almost naked with few of my abilities!!  HELP!!!!</p><p>I'd like to know what I need to do to get things back close to where I had them before whatever update it was that reset everything!  Any pointers/links would be much appreciated!!</p><p>Zyzzyva. a suddenly lost level 80 guardian</p>

<p>Check your inventory overflow. There was a gear change and some of your items may be in your overflow. Open you inventory and look for items in the lower left corner of your avatar's picture. If you items aren't in overflow, /petition to have your character restored.</p><p>There was a change to ability names. Open your knowledge book and put your abilities on your hotbar. Let us know if these suggestions don't work, and the more info you can give, the better.</p>

<p>Guard huh?</p><p>Your better off betraying to a Zerk or rolling a crusader.</p><p>The mechanics people saw fit to re-balance and streamline everything and now (except for single target) your kinda useless in an expansion that is multitarget encounters for everything.</p><p>Now it would appear that the mechanics people were either fired or quit out of frustration/embarrassment.</p><p>Its kinda funny in a twisted sorta way yet not.</p><p>I mean now you can run the same instances 1001 times (if your not a guard) and get some really snazzy yet buttuggly snapon armor. I'm sure there is a cure for all this coming in station cash soon though so don't fret. I'm certain that the two people they have left working there are doing their best to bring us quality entertainment..just look at the latest city events /gag.</p>
