Mystic AA Advice

<p>I just started EQ2 about 3 weeks ago and am a 25 Mystic with 25 AA. I have the Combat Arts all the way to the end and am working down AGI 4 -4-8 for melee crit...where should I go for Melee/DPS Shaman next. I will have a mirrior at later levels so will be able to swap to a healer setup...so if you want to include a helpful group healer spec that would be cool also.</p>

<p>The end ability from agility, Tribal Rage, procs nearly every fight when you solo; it's great.  In addition, I'm a fan of the STR line. I like the haste, the ward proc, and occasionally missing an aoe, but some folks just hate dogdog. When you have 60 points spent, Litany of Combat from the priest line of the TSO tree gives Battle Prowess, which increases weapon damage, double attack and melee damage.   Ethereal weaponry from the shaman line is also dandy but you will have to wait until you have 120 points spent.</p><p>Welcome to eq2 <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" /></p>

<p>Cool sounds like prgressing down past 4-4-8 in the AGI line will be my move with a foray into STR next + the 60/120 pick ups</p>

<p>Question - if I put the AA spell "Ancestry" on my pet, will it increase the trigger percentage of the last two skills in the Shaman strength line?</p>

<p>Yes, it does, but not enough to matter.  You're still far better with Ancestry on . . . well, pretty much anyone but your pet, and usually it's best on yourself.</p>
