Wanting to come back

<p>I've been bored with my other MMO's lately and want to come back to EQ2. I have a 75+ pally but it has honistly been SOOOO long since i have played i wouldn't know where to start with him. So i am thinking an SK. They always looked interesting, my main goal is DPS, not to tank (tanked to much in other games) So my question, does/can the SK fit that role, and do it well? Could i perhaps get some pros and cons against other classes say Swashbuckler ect? I have been and will contuine to read the fourms but thought if i put it out there someone might have some consolidated information. Thanks.</p><p>F</p>

<p>An SK is a tank.  If you want to DPS, choose a Mage or Scout.  You will never be asked to a group in a DPS role as an SK.</p><p>Yes, SK's can do some good DPS, the problem is that in doing so they inevitably will tank the encounter.</p>
