Returning Player wanting TSO

<p>I am back after an 18 month tour of the MMO world. I would like to get TSO but there are a few problems. I live in Thailand. For me to mail order the box would cost probably $100 because of mailing costs and import duties. I could download it but, as I understand it, the digital download on the EQ2 web pages is a full game download, measured in multiple GB's. With my 3rd world internet that would tie up the computer for days. Just updating the game for 18 months of patches took about 14 hours.</p><p>Is there just an update, only requiring download of the new bits associated with TSO? Haven't found one but thought I'd ask.</p>

<p>The SoE downloadstory does not actually download anything at all. It will just flag your account for TSO. The patcher will then download everything needed for TSO. If you already own RoK and have patched that up to date, then it will be only a minor update to TSO. Basically the new zones.</p>

Longer pause the first time you go to new content, but then its fine. You can also do that while you play but then run the normal game patcher overnight to patch missing parts of the game.</p>
