Is it possible to extend the viewable range of flora beyond the about 30meeters? I really like the graphics of the flora, but having it just pop up bugs me.

Greetings,

I believe there is an option in the eq2_recent.ini that will allow you to do so. Try changing the following line:

r_flora_radius_scale

Should I put a value at the end of it? The lines i have right now are:

r_flora true

r_flora_density_scale 0.663400

From TSR_Jason :

ChiaPet®" flora - type /r_flora_density_scale 120 while inside the game. This will cause extreme lag on even the most "hard-core" of computers. It looks neat, though. The number after the command can be any "real" number from 0.0 to some ludicrously large number (say 120.0)

Posted here:

http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...?topic_id=35985

Greetigs,

Ortahr

You have to love posts like Jason's that actually result in more game crashes.
