INT = Spell damage and power pool. It is your primary stat.

STA = hp. It is your secondary stat.

All others... useful, but not really a big deal. The one I find most useful is actually STR for carry weight.

I don't know the Erudite traits. I've never used them, and tbh wit hthe recent trait revamp, I hardly even know my own. Still and all, since "mage" is their preferred type, though, I'd assume they have traits to increase casting skills -- take them. They aren't that big a deal, but every little bit helps. Disruption and Subjugation are the 2 biggest ones to worry about as a coercer.

I've been focusing on a bigger hp pool every chance I get.

The way I see it, we don't really need to worry much about our mana pools - we already get the best mana regen, and late game gear adds so much mana regen that nothing you choose for traits will matter.

Hit points, on the other hand, are precious to us. In my time as a raid inquisitor, it was always the coercers who died to the big AEs, and there was nothing I could do about one-hit kills. Loading up on hp can mean the difference between survival and one hit deaths for us in raid and heroic fights.

And then there's PVP. Being able to survive that Ice Comet or Sniper Shot means a lot. A ton of coercer PVP fights come down to whether they can kill you before you get off a mez.

Subjugation is nice. Int is nice. +mana is nice. But those things will all come naturally. But hitpoints are the way to go when you get a choice.
