<p>I searched this forum and have tried some suggestions for someone that seemed to be having a similar (remotely similar) issue that I am having with only EQ2 and nothing has worked.</p><p>Last night my game locked up and crashed, when I tried to log back in I was unable to as my keyboard started going bonkers in the client. I am able to log in fine with both the Station Launcher and the launcher provided with the Streaming Client.</p><p>When I type anything in-game it comes out like this: "TeST TEsT Why IS My KeyBOArd NOt WORkinG in GAMe Test TEsT." The shift key doesn't seem to work, toggling caps lock doesn't seem to work and literally everything I type looks like the sentence above; it's all randomly capitalized and about 30% of the time the text field will just clear and I'll have to start whatever I'm typing over.</p><p>I've deleted multiple files and had the launcher redownload them:</p><p>the cache folder</p><p>UI folder</p><p>eq2_default and eq2_recent</p><p>the everquest2.exe</p><p>the character specific UI settings for every character</p><p>Stationname_character file.</p><p>I have also tried different keyboards, different USB ports, a non-USB keyboard, etc... nothing seems to be working. I have also reinstalled the game, basically. After the crash last night I had to redownload the game as I was unable to boot the client at all.</p><hr /><hr /><hr /><p><strong>EDIT: Alright, turned out to be one of two programs running in the background (Eeamon or DAEMON tools). Problem is resolved.</strong></p>
