I am still really new to EQ2 and I am looking for the class that is more my style. I really like DPS classes. I was never a big fan of the sneak thing, but it is something I can learn to love or learn to live with. I was looking at a few other classes, but would really like to try the assassin. I have only played the first few levels and I know from playing many other MMOs the first few levels really don't define how a class will play at max level. So I was wondering is the assassin a class that can solo well at end-game or will I hate it? When it comes time to find a group is it going to be a pain or am I going to be welcomed? I know back in EQ1 days when I played a ranger, finding a group was like finding a needle in a hay stack, unless you had a good rep, good luck finding a decent group. I was considering be a figher class, but they all are tanks, and I am not big on tanking or doing a below par DPS. Any help would be greatful in the confusing time.

I myself thought sneaky wasn't my thing, but when I rolled assassin I loved it.
