Re: new crafter's mission for Bathezid faction:

Bathezid's Watch: medical necessity - the herbs in rillis seem to have terribly long respawn rate, I came here originally with quest and saw nothing in sight that I could harvest, collect or otherwise examine, I was cruising around rillis untill a guildie told me what to look for, he came to show me one spot and I still didn't see anything in that spot. I switched to another character who needed faction and she didn't see any plants on rillis either. Now I logged back after 2 or 3 hours and finally saw them, I harvested 9 out of 10 and I'm waiting for respawn just to see what the timer on them is and at present time it's been 26 minutes and they are still not back in those 9 spots i picked up from

They really need to have a shorter timer, for a once a day quest this seems to cater at maximum to 2 crafters leaveing rest of population without ability to complete a quest

Someone in test channel said this maybe could be put on " a demand" I think it would be a great idea, have them spawn for everybody who needs them, with th emission being once a day deal it's not like we will farm bathezid faction to ally in a day

thanks for considering either on demand or faster repop or some other way to allowing us complete a quest and not spend half a day here

32 minutes now since i picked up my 9 herbs and still no repops all along the walls where I got them

edited: follow up, I finished getting my 10 fresh herbs on Ennia and logged on Chikkin to do the same quest, managed to scrounge up 7 of 10 herbs with no more plants to get in rillis, I am checking areas outside rillis at the moment with no luck so far, it has been 65 minutes now since Ennia picked up first herb, there is no repops in the places where she got them first

somethng's wrong here

i took the Bathezid Watch faction last night, saw no nodes in the hour i was on, logged in at 4am PST (ish) and got six of my 10, wandered around Riliss for an hour with no respawns. camped to do some other things. came back 4 hours later and while wandering doing laps in Riliss saw my first respawn at about 4 1/2 hours.

ditto to what Ennia said

Thanks for the feedback! Looks like I set the harvests up wrong for these items, so they're respawning way to slowly. I will get this fixed up today, and hopefully it will get to Test reasonably soon after that!

Thanks for the quick response How about sometime more like the crystals we click on that doesn't poof when harvested.? That way the number of people in the zone doing it or people who are grouped are not stymied by others. On second thought, those harvests that we do in mystic lake area seem to be popping really quickly and still have the running around harvesting feel.

With the changes I made today, there should be about 25 clams and 20 herbs up at any given time and they'll repop in 30 seconds (though not necessarily at the same location). It's all checked in now, so I think it should sneak in with the next Test server update.

Thanks for the change The missions for today (rilissians advancers to locate and supplies to get in sathir span) is pretty easy, even on a low adventuring char.
I ran through all of these on a level 48 brigand on testcopy and didn't have any real problems. Chelsith was the hardest but once you've worked out a safe path to get there - and there are several - that too is fairly easy. The one thing I would ask to be considered is the addition of a faction quest for the sarnaks at the Jarsath Wastes zone in Kylong Plains. To get through to that zone we have to dodge sarnaks, goblins and animals that roam around the roads. High level adventurers only have to dodge goblins and animals so they have a much easier experience as well as a much higher survivability rate if they're spotted. The opening faction quest for those sarnaks is given inside the JW zone and only seems to be given to high adventure levels. Having an equivalent quest for crafters would be great to give us a parity with the adventurers making the trip. This wasn't so much of a problem previously as you could load up with fuels, run through to Danak once and then park there until you were done with faction, but with the new mission sets requiring daily trips across that border it does get quite frustrating, quite fast.

/agree. That or a hammer for Danak like a feedbacked just one hour ago. But I like the idea of a Sel'Nok faction quest better.

I would love a faction quest for the Sarnaks for crafters.

QUick news to let you know that the "clamming up" mission is now working well (fast respawn). Waiting for tomorrow for riliss herbs
