I have a level 68 guardian to come back to, is it worth picking it back up or should I switch to another tank class if I want to do alot of tanking for raids and a dedicated group?

There are other classes who have a much easier time of tanking the current zones in the game as far as keeping aggro, but guards are still decent at handling spike damage. That's about all they are still top of the line at, though.

I say try the guardian for a very levels or so and if you still like playing it and are willing to try and make it work, any raiding and grouping will follow. I raid with a group that only does some zones, but they are willing to take anyone who knows their toon and makes it work with any group so unless you plan to raid with high end guilds it shouldn't matter (and even then they have one or two of every class just in case).

I would say betray him to zerk or roll another tank class. I promis you that you will have alot more fun with it. Its better to have a tank class that are better all around than one that only are good at taking spike dmg from time to time. The other tanks can now take spike dmg aswell and so many other things. I would say go for a zerk. Its much better to learn and tank on a warrior than a crusader imo since you have to work harder on aggro and stuff. And its a great all around class. But do as you feel like really.

Betray or re-roll Crusader.

As much as I love playing Guardian....I would never recommend one to someone just starting or just comming back. The game has evolved to the point that unless you are allowed to start out at 80, with 200AAs, Myth, T3+ gear and Trak shield your in for nothing but frustration trying to level up/progress a Guardian.

We really are only useful for select raid targets and only when we have all the best gear and the best support/buffs.

Trying to get into such an environment as a "new" Guard these days is not gonna happen.

Sorry to be so blunt but like they say "honesty........." =P
