I would definately try to get a AA mirror. Although you do not solo, it will allow you to have a DPS set-up for when you and your husband are fighting easy mobs and want to kill them faster.

On the Shaman Tree, I have maxed out both the Stamina and Wisdom lines because I like the end abilities for groups. I spent to remainder of my points in the agility line to boost my heal crit an extra 15.6%.

In the Mystic Tree, I spent points on the middle row (buffs and debuffs) in order to get the end abilitiy to add a trigger percentage which is very useful when the tank has good equipment. I also made sure that I maxed out on Booster. I spent some points on the resurection line which I know a lot of people do not like. However, I think that it takes too long to cast a resurection spell while in combat and spending AA points in this line can significantly reduce the time.

On a side note, make sure you download the Profit UI. I finally caved in a few months ago and I am loving it. It makes being a Mystic a lot easier.

If you don't like the looks of Profit's UI then you should at least download and install some stand alone pieces like this one. It has ward timers and the amount of "ward" remaining.

Mostly grouping I started with STR line WIS and then later went back for AGI though have swapped between AGI crits and STA line for cure speed.

Mystic line concentrated on the bufs down the middle, and eventualy picked up combat and cures. The immunities at end of cures does come in handy for keeping me from diying due to the tank getting stunned on pull.

When you go wisdom line remember to macro the heal boost into one of your heals so it just happens when its available rather than having to find it. Generally any time I'm using heals instead of wards it probably somewhat of an emergency so I might as well have that healp boost aa ability being used. Sorry I forget what the name of its right off.

Unless it's changed recently, Ritual doesn't even affect Wards, so you're far better off macro'ing Ritual in front of your group heal. It's been a long time since I've been in that line, so I'm not sure if it has changed, but the last time I was, it definitely specified "Health Replenishment".

Yep to my knowledge it only boosts the effectiveness of heals, so just a mild bonus on the way down to Alacrity.
