I use a 5 button mouse. (logitech mx510) I have my mouse 4 bound to pet attack, and mouse 5 is bound to sprint. Every time I double click mouse 4 button, the mouse 5 ability fires off (sprint in this case). I downloaded the newest drivers and software from logitech and it's still doing it.

The weird part is, if i go into setpoint (the software for the logitech mice) and switch the mouse 5 key to something other than the generic forward. Like alt + right arrow. It does not do this. It only does this when the buttons are the generic forward and back buttons.

Greetings,

Try closing out the set point software and then run it as an administrator. That is necessary in some cases with mouse configuration software. Let us know if the problem persists at that point.

It does this with or without the setpoint software running. Usually I try and only use the hardware, without setpoint as I don't like setpoint. I only tried running it with setpoint to change the mouse button's to a different key binding to see if it would change anything.

And my system is set to UAC off, so everything runs with admin priv.

Everything you just said makes sense, but I have still seen my suggestion correct the issue in several cases. Please try it at least once and let us know if it persists at that point.

Yea it does the same thing with or without run as admin selected when using the setpoint software. I would honestly prefer not to use the software as it uses up needed system resources.

Just to clarify the keys work fine in game, unless I double click them. If i double click one key it uses the action bound to the other key instead.

Ie. If i have pet attack set to mousekey 4 and sprint set to mousekey 5. If i double click 4, it will start sprinting. If i double click 5 it will send my pet in to attack.
