1. Is it possible to play in full screen mode, alt tab, and not have it switch to windowed mode? Every time it does that it moves my minimap and I have to move it back. Not to mention switch it back to full screen mode.

2. I use a 5 button mouse. (logitech mx510) I have my mouse 4 bound to pet attack, and mouse 5 is bound to sprint. Every time I double click mouse 4 button, the mouse 5 ability fires off (sprint in this case). I downloaded the newest drivers and software from logitech and it's still doing it.

The weird part is, if i go into setpoint (the software for the logitech mice) and switch the mouse 5 key to something other than the generic forward. Like alt + right arrow. It does not do this. It only does this when the buttons are the generic forward and back buttons. I may have to repost this in technical help, but hopefully someone here knows what's up.

I'm not sure if I fully understand the questions, but I'll give it a shot.

1) Full screen or windowed mode are options that can be set from the Options screen. CTRL? O brings it up, look thru the Display tab and check or uncheck Full Screen option. Hitting Alt? and Enter will also toggle between the two modes. Im not on a computer where I can double check which key it is, but the Option menu will tell you.

2) I would suggest using the keyboard mapping option to control which keys and mouse actions do what. I use the keyboard, so can't say much about the mouse specifically, but the same Options window mentioned above will allow you to customize all game actions.

3) there were also some hardware type setups from the login screen. you might double check some of those settings as well.

The Options window is really the place to look if you havent' already. You can alter the display, UI, chats, a whole host of things that can make the game very personallize.

As far as I know, alt tabbing will always turn it to windowed mode, as full screen renders everything behind it "inert." When you alt tab, you are telling the game that you want the other stuff to be "active" (as in, usable) and at this time, I don't think there is an option to reconcile the two.

As for your mouse button problem, it seems EQ2 isn't very good at determining what button you push if it's not button 1 or 2. I have a similar setup, autorun on 5 and push to talk on 4, sometimes when I talk I also start running.Write a /bug report...
