eq2.patch.station.sony.com is not responding to requests on port 7010... so patching with the regular EQ2 Patcher fails. However the machine is alive it is pingable. [00:20:28] Patcher: curl_easy_perform failed (21,7): couldn't connect to host [00:20:28] Patcher: DownloadFileEx failed (21) on url=http://eq2.patch.station.sony.com:7010/patch/eq2/lon-live/patch1/main/LegendsOfNorrath/data/archetypes/actionStorage.dat.gz - Silkem

It seems to be patching when I try from this end. I even deleted a few pak files at random so that I could force them to repatch. That leads me to believe the patch server is operational unless it is only closed for outside connections. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Can you post your tracert results when trying to connect to that server?

It doesn't affect regular everquest game files but pieces of the InGame Legends Of norrath Client. Try to delete ./LegendsOfNorrath/data/archetypes/actionStorage.dat.gz Tracert gives a fine result but trying to connect to the server at port 7010 fails. 1 61 ms 31 ms 31 ms ****.weham.de.hansenet.net [213.191.****] 2 15 ms 15 ms 15 ms ae0-101.cr02.weham.de.hansenet.net [62.109.120.126] 3 15 ms 15 ms 15 ms ae1-104.pr05.asham.de.hansenet.net [62.109.119.10] 4 15 ms 15 ms 15 ms amb1-hansenet-2-de.amb.seabone.net [89.221.35.21] 5 31 ms 31 ms 31 ms tge8-4.fr4.frf.llnw.net [87.248.216.137] 6 15 ms 15 ms 29 ms cds271.frf.llnw.net [87.248.218.78]

hey i thought i would finally come in here and post myself. running into this issue, and none of my usual fixes worked. also strange, is the location of the launchpad folder has been moved and i can no longer locate it (which used to fix it, just delete the whole thing sans the patcher .exe). the station launcher wont work either. when i install it, it refuses to start, no matter where i install it. tried installing it to all 7 of my partitions in different places and it refused to initiate no matter what. it's been a week since i patched and while it hasnt affected my gameplay yet, next time a liveupdate rolls around it's gonna wreak havoc, and i would like to not have to reinstall the whole game. removing files didnt help either. i cut n pasted my entire EQ2 directory sans patcher to a different part of my hard drive and it still didnt work, which makes me think something might be up with the patch servers. if i knew the IP of the server i would start diagnosing, but it looks like from the threads here that others have already started doing the same thing lol. wireshark is drawing a blank as well

It seems like there's an issue with the station launcher at the moment that is causing an error for some people. According to the station launcher forums, they are releasing an update in the next couple of days to correct it. There is some info about that update in the following thread:

http://forums.station.sony.com/stat..._id=11500015270

Thanks for answer.

I solved the problem the following way: switched from EU to US version, downloaded successfully the files and switched back. Later I tried again (for the sake of curiosity) to download the files by EU-client, but failed.

I hope it could help someone…
