I haven't used this ability in a very very long time. I don't even have it hotbarred anymore since it doen't have a role in my play style. Same for rock skin.

If the mob's pathing can't figure out where to go when it's trying to flee then it just stands still. You'll see that happen in a lot of zones with jacked up pathing.

I like using them when I have multiple mobs on me that hit hard, I use instill doubt to shove one out of the way while I finnish the first off, when he comes back I use intimidate, by that time I use my AOEs which kill the first(if its not dead yet) and has the other down to yellow. Awsome in pvp too :0) when its not resisted.

It is rare but when I click on instill doubt he yawns and says he is tired and does not run away, I then use intimidate and it does the same thing(which it is supposed to do). Chalk it up as a wierd glitch.

Used both Intimidate and Instill Doubt to great affect yesterday on my 43 bruiser. I was doing the, "harvest 12 rocks from the grikbar crater in steamfont," quest.

I ran to a rock node, which was guarded by a blue ^^, then FD. Then cast Intim. or I.D. on the mob, and while they're occupied, harvest the node. Run to the next node, and repeat.

I've never done that quest so easily (on other classes). It definitely seems I.D. works like Intim. sometimes but I think the pathing explanation in an earlier post, is what causes the mob to not run.

Z-axis changes tend to screw up pathing quite a bit, so it makes sense that on a steep rocky incline like the grikbar crater you'd see that happen.
