Leviathan + Ancestral Sentry

<p>Am I reading this right? Is the "rescue" that the ancestral sentry does KILLING its target?</p><p><img src="http://i231.photobucket.com/albums/ee102/toejam1234/Ancestral.jpg?t=1257864240" width="910" height="63" /></p><p>Wish it was parsing the interceed better, but this looks aweful suspcious.  Our MT (not Notez) was also complainging about Sentry killing him.  Unfortantly it didnt get captured in the parse. I suspect because he was not in my group.</p><p>Wish I had more information. Is the AE that levi does called corrosive bile. Is it instead that the AE is just hitting everyone for the exact same amount of damage, including the sentry? And shouldnt the Sentry have AE immunity?</p>

<p>I would suspect the focus damage is the same.  If you are getting focus damage, you're doing something wrong most of the time.  What is more likely to be killing your tank is reflects.</p><p>I'm wondering if this is the focus penalty for having people outside melee range.  I just don't remember that encounter very well anymore.  We did it about a week ago, and I don't remember it being any different or anything new jumping out at me.  We all ran up to the mob, people used the fish skins, we killed it.</p>

<p>Corrosive Bile is something Leviathan does. Without the Sentry, your tank would have been hit for 7316 focus damage. But your sentry interceded half of that, so your tank got less damage.I don't see anything bugged in what you posted.</p>

<p>What I find most odd about this is as soon as we stopped using the sentry. Levi is not parsing doing any focus damge.</p>

If either of those are true, it goes off.</p>
