Everquest 2 crashing with windows 7

<p>i recently downloaded windows 7 and i keep getting this everquest II has detected an unrecoverable error and must shutdown. <p>Having directx 11 is of no use in EQ2 as this is specifically directx 9 and having 11 doesn't necessarily mean you have the most up to date version. I know it maybe a daft question but have you tried downloading the most recent directx? I am sure one was released around August time so this for me would be the most obvious thing to try whilst awaiting an official response. This along with also checking that graphics card drivers are fully updated.</p>
