Ber vs Bruiser

<p>Looking for a duel wield warrior type choice is so far</p><p>Bruiser - apperance plate looks cool</p><p>Ber - wears plate looks cool</p><p>How do they compare as a am not planning to raid just level and  grp with friends etc</p><p>i know bruisers had FD but can get the ber get  the trinket Fd does it compare.</p><p>looking at mainly solo leveling and doing quests and maybe solo heroic mobs</p><p>cheers for any answers</p>

<p>I've played both but only the bruiser up to a respectable level.  I have not taken the time to aquire more than 20aa with him so maybe that changes things.</p><p>Bruiser was my first class and my favorite. Pro's and Con's of playing the classes in my eyes.</p><p>Pro's</p><p>1. Can solo most non-heroic quests with ease</p><p>2. Can solo most heroic quests and heroic encounters if many levels above encounter ( with the encounter still being green ).  I used to solo RE and several group instances when I was 8-9 levels above the target range ( back in 2005 ).</p><p>3. Has the best utility of fighter classes IMO ( self heal, FD, self proc ( on timer ), numerous self buffs )</p><p>4. Has a ton of abilities ( multiple knockdowns, multiple AE's and many single target abilities )</p><p>Con's</p><p>1. Does not take dmg as well as a plate armor class</p><p>2. Is not group friendly since other classes do more dmg or take more dmg</p><p>I leveled my bruiser up to 60 solo.  And would clear out instances aka MOW over, within DFK, RV, RE, and SS.  This was back in 2005, at this point he is just a powerleveler for my 2nd account.</p>

<p>I have a bruiser AND a berserker!</p><p>Unfortunately the highest I played my bruiser was to 28 when there was no aa's.  And I only have a level 10 right now with 20 aa's.</p><p>I do have a berserker and have him up to 26 (locked down gathering aa's).</p><p>Man...they are both fun imo.</p><p>I don't think I could choose....but if I were forced to...like...someone was threatening my pet fish unless I made a choice...</p><p>I would go zerker</p><p>/ahem</p><p>ignore my signature.  :P</p>

<p>Berserkers have some decent aa's.  I am 26 as well with 34 aa's invested in the general warrior tree under the str/sta line have served me well.</p>

Hehe just a pet peeve ignore that. Bruiser is better soloing berserker is better group/raid simple as that. I play a bruiser but it is a pain constantly being treated as a 2nd class citizen.

<p>If all you plan on doing is soloing then either will work.  If you want to tank heroic instances then you might want to lean towards the Zerker.</p>

I have one almost 80 and always had his AAs maxed(pvp speaking and they are kick ### too at pvp), mastered spells and mastercrafted equiped through all tiers but T8. Drawback, extended fights, power is an issue.</p><p>FD is a plus and high success rate</p><p>Healing, man that helps out a lot, keep it mastered.</p>
