Again, dunno if anything of this = spoilers, but I was talking about some of the things in it with someone and apparently there are more interesting goodies than I realized, sooo... /discuss!

The script for the very cute and interesting play. I hope we see more plays in the future!!

[Scene: A view of either a sunset, or a sunrise, through a rocky horizon.]The Narrator: Confusion reigned like the moon upon the land. The Narrator: Matron and male, child and elder. They tore at each other and walked different paths. "This way!" "No that!"The Narrator: And they knew nothing of purpose and ignored the power of hate. The Narrator: There were many races then. The Narrator: Ones of slight girth, treading upon the land. Others like boulders leaving their mark. The Narrator: Some crawled and dug out below, while others escaped with the air.The Narrator: Our story is that of both below and above, of digging and flying. The Narrator: The origin of Arasai.

[Scene: A lake in the Commonlands, perhaps The Dog Pond. A few wisps flit about in the background. Two Teir'dal, a male and a female, converse.]a Teir'Dal male: Stabs of pain are what I feel being away from our cavernous capitol city.a Teir'Dal female: Revel in it. It is all in glory of our Sacred Matron that we traverse within such vile lands as Faydark.a Teir'Dal male: You are without fault, Dark Lady.a Teir'Dal female: While the world still believes our empire to be buried or dead, it is our task to secret away fae spirits. And we may just chance upon a few fated sacrifices along the way.a Teir'Dal male: My heart will flow with black delight in that! The Narrator: Teir'Dal, with acts clandestine, set out to seize from the forest a blossom of fae.The Narrator: A spirit of bone and potential ripe for the picking, rescued from tedium when born anew. The Narrator: Blissful machinations awaited these pitiful blooms.

[Scene: The Darklight Palace. The Queen stands before her throne to address a Teir'Dal male.]a Teir'Dal male: We have returned to you, Baneful Queen, successful. The Queen: You have done well for the future of the Teir'Dal empire.a Teir'Dal male: I am but your willing servant. Your works are of great import! You have brought order to the confusion that followed Innoruuk's absence. We have come to thrive under your infallible leadership. The Queen: Then be blessed to hear the fate that awaits the spirits you obtained. Just as we gestated within Innoruuk's boiling hate, so will these beings be born and nourished by the hate that pounds within my breast. The Queen: These beings of mercy and pity will be made anew through violent cleansing. Stripped of weakness and reformed in torture and destruction.a Teir'Dal male: Upon this mortal realm, you alone hold the cunning, the power, the skill, and the hate to create such new beings from old.The Queen: True, I may have been born into this world through my mother's womb, but it has ceased to constrain me.a Teir'Dal male: To our fortune. The Narrator: And so it came to pass, just as it had been scribed long before:The Narrator: "The Matron of Sealing who fashions all things has added matchless weapons, has born monster-serpents, sharp of tooth, and unsparing of cunning. The Narrator: With venom for blood she has filled their bodies. Meek twigs she has clothed with barbs. The Narrator: Those who behold them are overcome by terror. The Narrator: Their bodies rear up and none can withstand their attack."[an Arasai male enters.]a Teir'Dal male: Glory to our queen.an Arasai male: Our mother. The Queen: And goddess.

I didn't notice it the first time I watched it, but the second time through I noticed there were some neat spotlight effects at the end. Pretty great all around, and I agree, I hope we see more plays here in the future. It would be great to start seeing them in more cities as well, actually.

This actually sounds very interesting. Are you actually able to watch this play ingame? Where might it be found?

Sorry, I forgot to mention that!

It's the newly added play to the Nightsong Opera House in Neriak, though at the moment, it is only on Test / Test_Copy. It's really cute!

My personal favorite scene was the Teir'Dals in the Commonlands. The "backdrops" used in the play are absolutely adorable and well-executed, in my opinion!

I dunno, but that reminded me... okay, no it didn't, but seeing this pop up reminded me. Someone said that the first scene with the Teir'Dals is actually in Faydwer. The backdrop looked like Commonlands, so I assumed -- minor detail, but just wanted to note that.

its Commonlands, but the NPC actualy says the name Faydwer, i assume they are hinting about the Thexian invasion of Faydwer and the War of Fay's campaign while showing the commonlands, since thats where alot of the Thexians that returned/survived wound up if not over on Faydwer hiding out.
