Greetings,

Have you tried deleting that file off of your computer before restarting the launchpad? If not, I would advise doing so at this point. By default the Client.fr.qm file will be located in the following folder:

C:Program FilesSonyEverQuest IILegendsOfNorrath

Let us know if the problem persists after deleting that file.

Hi

It seems I dont have the file client.fr.qm, I searched in the defualt directory and even did a file search, it's not anywhere on my pc. So what does this mean? its unable to download this particular file and thats why its bugging out?

this also happened to me also - new laptop using windows 7, running as admin and also with xp compatibility settings etc.

the everquest2.exe option worked for me but how does this effect future updates? does skipping launchpad mean the game doesnt update?

if it helps, the other option that worked fine for me was installing the launcher as opposed to launchpad
