Nektropos Castle: Tribulation - The "Thexian Artifacts" collection now awards AA and a tradeable house item upon completion!

What does this mean for everyone who turned in this collection (and griped about the lack of reward) for the last 2 years?

Well, the AA is a lost cause, but there are plenty of other methods to get it. The tradeable house item is tradeable so all it takes is an alt and you've got it. The collection used to be really easy to finish, but some change to Tribulation some time ago gave it at least three shiny "layouts" (i.e., where they're all placed and whether they're real or fake) that I've been able to determine. Unfortunately, the change to make shinies not appear in static locations broke the nameds... like if you get layout #3, might as well die and come back, because the golem isn't going to spawn, and none of the nameds are going to give AA anyway. d:

I"m sure the house item being tradable was a nod to the people who did it already. They're not making it diffucult to go ahead and get, the AA is likely a drop in the bucket anyway...

Yes, making the item sellable is certainly catering to those of us that finished it. "Yes, we're aware that you paid several platinum to finish the quest. Don't be upset though! Now you can spend 20pp to buy the reward you didn't receive. Isn't that neat?"

No.

While admittedly the shinies aren't as easy to get as they used to be before the changes to Tribulation, I think, if the reward is what you want, it's worth it to get the shinies for an alt to turn in and take their reward. After all, while getting the shinies, you also get chances at the billy doll, the handy apron, the cute sewing needle, and transmute fodder (e.g., level 70 masters). The zone needs some love, anyway. Revisiting it to get more shinies is totally good for its hurt and lonesome state!
