View Full Version : Please help - Resubscribed and now I cannot log in...

<p>Hey everyone how are you doing? Well I finished patching my game and what not but I have windows vista ultimate 32bit. with 4.00GB on Memor (RAM) any whenever I try to launch my game I have this problem...</p><p>Critical Error - Application ran out of memory when requesting 1634168720 bytes (limit: 2048 MB, Current: 60 MB.)</p><p>Can anyone please help me? I don't want to have to un subscribe already because  can't play.</p><p>Sincerely, Rakor.</p>

<p>While the memory crash is a known issue, most people are able to work around it.  Can you provide some additional information about the computer you are using?  Information such as your CPU, graphics card, and driver versions will help a lot.  The first section of your DXdiag would be ideal.  You can read about how to collect that information in the 'read before posting' thread at the top of this forum.</p>

<p>My CPU is an MSI and the Graphics card is the newest of Nvidia.. I think the 2 series is all I know. its the newest one that just came out. I will call you guys up today and see what can be done.</p>

This is happening when I click play.. I.E. - Scanning files.... then i click Play - then it brings up the rectangular window saying EverQuest II and it starts to load.. Then that error pops up.

Then that error pops up.</blockquote><p>Are you pre-selecting a character before hitting play?  If so, please let me know the server and character name.  You can PM me if you wish.  Also, if you're selecting a character, try loading character select or a different character to see if that gets you in.</p><p>It appears that the client is trying to allocate 1.6gb which is very odd.</p>

<p>If it shows a character name selected, switch it to "Select Character".  I know the last time I came back from a break I had problems when it tried to load a character directly from the launcher, but changing it to "Select Character" (which takes you to the screen listing all your toons) solved the problem.  After I chose a character from that screen and logged into game successfully, I was able to choose a character to load directly from the launcher without problems.</p>

thats the only problem... I cant get to the character selection screeeeeeen at alll! =[

<p>well now here is the other problem... I uninstalled the display drivers and then reinstalled the 186.18 Driver from Nvidia and still got the same [Removed for Content] error! Anyone have any suggestions....?</p>

Anyone have any suggestions....?</p></blockquote><p>At this point we will probably need to collect your DXdiag information in order to locate the problem.  Please post that so we can continue to help.  The instructions on how to retrieve that info can be found in the 'read before posting' thread at the top of this forum.  The first couple of sections should be sufficient(up through the sound devices section)</p>
