The exact error message is:

(Titled: NvCplApi_Notification: EverQuest2.exe - Application Error)

The instruction at "0x052473e7" referenced memory at "0x052473e7". The memory could not be "read".

Click on OK to terminate the program

Click on CANCEL to debug the program

Hitting Cancel does jack: it crashes me to desktop same as if if I hit OK or if I tried to do anything in game (which continues to run in the background when the error message comes up- I can see player characters run by me, or mobs path, I just can't do anything myself). This message seems to appear no matter what I do- sometimes it comes up before a character is even loaded, sometimes it allows me three minutes or so in actual game before popping up.

Other games and programs are working perfectly: I know that's not much help, but EQ2 is the only game that does this, which is why I'm posting here. Most of the games I fiddle with are less graphically intensive: Dungeons and Dragons Online, City of Heroes... but Bioware's Mass Effect and SOE's own Vanguard seem to run alright, as well.

My only thought is that maybe it relates to the fact that very recently, I upgraded me drivers. My videocard is GeForce 8500 GT, with the new drivers 191.07.

Any help would be appreciated, and if I need to offer any more information, I will do so gladly. Thanks.!
