When I launch LON (from the menu) and I choose Learn To Play from the options, I get a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library error that says:

Program: C:Program FilesSonyEverquest IIEverquest2.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

Please contact the application's support team for more information.

Welp support team, what more info can ya give me? Haven't really changed anything since before the last update.

Anyone else had this issue? I did a full file scan in case a file had become corrupted. First time I noticed the error, I was in my guild hall, so I tried again on the antonica docks. Same thing happened. I rebooted my computer, tried again and same thing happened.

I get this error everytime I try to enter the game. I have 5 booster packs that I can't access due to this.

Greetings,

It sounds like the C++ libraries are missing some of the essential files that usually install with Windows. You should be able reinstall those by using the following file:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...;displaylang=en
