I know it's not a huge deal, but it would be really nice if our buffs could not be overridden by lesser versions in the same group (or raid).

For instance, Converge. Mine is masterI and I have AA's put into it so that it transfers the max 9% of hate to fighter. I've been in groups with other sorcereros who override my 9% with their 3% transfer.

It can't be that hard to code and fix, so please? I can't imagine any controversy over it.

Not that I don't agree wholeheartedly...but this is something that people noted over 4 years ago. SoE clearly doesn't have this on their list of priorities. Hell, even the warlock version still overwrites accord despite the fact there's no reason they shouldn't be able to stack (they're two completely different spells with the same effect).

The only problem i have with this is concerning DPS. You have it mastered, and upped with your AA's. Most DPS specced wizards haven't bothered with it though, and putting out more dps than you will need that hate xfer more, even if it is only 3% still. I know that i've had other wizards in the group that kept cancelling mine when they cast it and it's annoying, but i know i do it to others as well when i'm the only one putting out 7k+ DPS and need all the hate xfer and De-hate mods i can get. I usually just talk it out with the other wiz's in group/raid and whoever has the higher DPS get's to use theirs. The others can put it on an off tank or a scout. Makes the power proc useless, but you still get the xfer.

Thats why they shouldn't overwrite...people have different main reasons for using them. I've always buffed mine for the sake of power-regen. If its a mob with say swarm adds, I always buff the OT if I can cause he'll get hit more and regen me more mana.

Also, there is absolutly zero reason why any wizzy should have points in that AA. We have *just* enough available points to knock out the good ones. Even with 200 AA we still have to leave 1 decent AA with only 4 points placed in it while maxing out the others. So if that is chosen there is a really really nice AA/raw dps AA that is not being spec'd. The extra 5% hate xfer is so minimal it won't save us. Maybe it would put you at 98 on the aggro meter instead of 100 but, if its getting that close, or lack of that close, the thing making or breaking it is the group setup/buff selections tanks skill, not that spells ability.

2c
